Ingredients

  • 1 x 650g pack of frozen mashed potato
  • 1 x 600g carton cheese sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 x 390g pack fish pie mix
  • 1 x 200g pack raw king prawns
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • handful fresh parsley, chopped

Method

  1. Prepare the frozen mashed potato following the instructions on the pack.
  2. Put the cheese sauce and fish sauce (if using) in a large pan and stir over a high heat for a few minutes until bubbling.
  3. Add the fish pie mix together with the prawns and cook for 5 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through. Try not to stir the mixture too much to avoid breaking up the pieces of fish.
  4. Stir in the lemon zest, parsley and some freshly ground black pepper and pour into a deep, ovenproof dish.
  5. Spoon over the mashed potato and cook under a preheated grill for 5 minutes until lightly golden on top. Serve immediately.
