Method

Treat yourself to the ultimate milkshake at home – indulgent mint chocolate ice cream is simply blitzed with fresh milk. Serving in a sundae glass adorned with a dark chocolate rim and topped with mint sprigs really takes this milkshake recipe to the next level.

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Dip the rim of a large sundae glass in the chocolate, then drizzle the rest around the inside of the rim, letting it trickle down inside the glass.
  2. Chill in the fridge to set. Blend the mint chocolate ice cream with the milk, then whisk in a little green gel food colour, if you like. Pour into the glass and top with a few mint leaves and a sprinkling of dark chocolate shavings.
