Ingredients

  • 100ml tequila
  • 50ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 30ml triple sec
  • ice cubes
  • 330ml lager
  • 50ml Tesco pomegranate juice drink

For the garnish (optional)

  • finely grated zest 1 orange
  • 2 tsp flaky sea salt
  • ¼ crushed chillies
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
If you don't have any limes, try a lemon instead

Method

  1. Mix the zest of an orange with 2 tsp sea salt and ¼ tsp crushed chillies. Rub a lime wedge around the rims of 2 glasses to moisten and dip into the salt mixture so it sticks the glasses aside.
  2. Pour the tequila, orange juice and triple sec into a cocktail shaker, add a handful of ice and shake well until the outside of the shaker feels icy cold.
  3. Strain into your prepared glasses along with lots of fresh ice. Top with the lager and then slowly pour in the pomegranate juice and allow it to sink slightly into the glass. Serve immediately with the lime wedges.
