British Heart Foundation

British Heart Foundation is a charitable organisation raising money to research cures and treatments for circulatory diseases.

In 2018 British Heart Foundation formed a partnership with Tesco dedicated to helping the nation live healthier lives. As part of Tesco's health charity partnership, British Heart Foundation has picked Tesco Real Food recipes that are nutritionally balanced, low in salt and saturated fat*, and totally delicious, whether you’re at risk of, living with heart and circulatory diseases, or not.

The partnership extends beyond food, with Tesco embracing many heart health initiatives. From registering more than 2,500 defibrillators to The Circuit, a national database keeping track of the location of all defibrillators available in the community, to launching the 'Let's Talk' pharmacy service, to upskill pharmacists in supporting those at risk of developing or living with serious conditions like heart attacks and strokes.

Take a look at our Heart healthy recipes – all featured recipes have been reviewed by British Heart Foundation.*
