Ingredients

  • 200g Kellogg’s Corn Flakes
  • 250g smooth peanut butter
  • 200g golden syrup
  • 2 large bananas or 3 smaller, cut into 3-5mm-thick slices
  • 200g dark chocolate

Method

  1. Line a 20 x 20cm baking tin with baking paper. Pour the corn flakes into a resealable freezer bag and crush slightly with a rolling pin. Pour the peanut butter and golden syrup into a medium saucepan and stir over a low heat, until melted and combined. Add the corn flakes and stir until completely coated.
  2. Tip the mixture into the prepared tin and spread out into an even layer. Top with the slices of banana. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of just simmering water. Pour the chocolate over the bananas, smooth with the back of spoon and chill in the fridge for 3-4 hrs, until completely set. Dip a sharp knife into hot water and wipe clean before cutting into slices to serve.
