This crispy tofu is great as an addition to noodle dishes and rice bowls or can be eaten as a side with the dipping sauce. See method
of the reference intake Carbohydrate 16.7g Protein 24.2g Fibre 3.1g
1. Preheat the air-fryer to 200°C.
2. Pat dry the drained tofu and put into a bowl. Sprinkle over the cornflour, white pepper, chilli flakes and sesame seeds and season with salt and black pepper. Toss well until coated, then drizzle over the oil, tossing to coat.
3. Put the tofu pieces into the air-fryer, well-spaced. Cook for 15 mins, shaking every 5 mins, until golden and very crisp.
4. For the sauce, put all the ingredients into a heat-safe bowl and microwave for 1-2 mins, stirring regularly, until steaming. Mix well and set aside to cool. Serve alongside the crispy tofu bites or drizzle over and toss to glaze if you prefer.
