3-ingredient frozen yogurt bites

With crunchy cereal and colourful fruit topping, these super-simple frozen yogurt bites are the perfect refreshing snack for kids. As they’re so easy to make, they can even help assemble them in their ice cube trays as a fun summer activity. There’s a handy ingredients list at the bottom of the page for everything you need.

  1. Add the cereal layer

Divide 40g granola between the holes of an ice cube tray, this will fill about 20-24 holes so you may need 1-2 trays depending on size.

    Add the cereal layer
  2. Top with yogurt and fruit

Spoon in 200g Greek-style yogurt to cover the cereal, then top each with a few pieces of fruit, chopped if large (you'll need about 150g of fresh fruit such as raspberries, blueberries and mango).

    Top with yogurt and fruit
  3. Freeze

Freeze the trays until solid (1-2 hrs) or until needed. The frozen bites will keep for up to 1 month in the trays or can be transferred to an airtight container.

    Freeze
  4. Serve

Allow to soften for a few minutes at room temperature, then pop out of the trays to serve.

  5. Tip

Most cereals and fruits will work well in this recipe. Try your favourite muesli or granola or crumble up larger unsweetened cereal flakes. Raspberries and blueberries can be added whole, but large fruits such as strawberries, mangoes, pineapple, kiwi, apricots, peaches or nectarines should be peeled and chopped into small pieces. Keep the fruits separate or mix and match as you like.
