Cider-ita punch
If there was ever a drink made for summer, it would be this cider-ita punch, made with refreshing apple cider and topped up with lime juice and mint leaves for a tangy kick. Fancy a bit of spice to bring things up a notch? Add freshly sliced chillies for a drink made to enjoy in the sunshine with friends.
-
In a large jug, mix the lime juice and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Chill if preparing ahead.
-
Add the cider and soda water to the sweet lime juice, then the mint leaves and apple slices. Divide the ice between 6 glasses; pour in the punch. Garnish with the chilli, if you like a bit of spice.
Cook's tip: For the juiciest limes, blast for 1 min in the microwave before juicing.
